What happens when the human stops being the centre of the frame?
human / nature looks at the unstable border between what we call civilisation and what we call the natural world. The issue moves through essays, images, interviews and field notes that ask whether separation from nature is a fact, a fantasy, or a habit we inherited.
Rather than treating ecology as a distant emergency, the issue begins closer to the skin: hunger, fear, ritual, technology, shelter, softness, species shame. It is interested in the strange places where philosophy meets compost, where climate anxiety becomes aesthetics, where a garden can be both a refuge and an argument.
